Yes our villas are air-conditioned with the latest energy efficiency. The villas are naturally cooled by the close proximity to the forest. Large shaded verandas , big sliding windows & louvers means lots of sea breezes which often results in the air-conditioning not being required ,but it is there for when you need it .

Book a private cooking or traditional basketmaking & weaving classes .or select a day tour from our extensive selection of cultural & indigenous tours . Book a private PNG cooking class with Rose in your own villa or basket & traditional weaving with Sila on your patio . Cost $35 a session Just advise on arrival or in advance.

Our tour information office has one of the largest ranges of eco-friendly tours to experience nature, protected species and native animals; including kangaroos and wallabies.
Spotlighting nature tours we have whale and dolphin spotting in season, Cairns Birdwatching experiences and tours and seabird sanctuaries – Michaelmas Cay on the Great Barrier Reef.
From film crews to National Geographic who have utilized not only our accommodation but also our 20 years of local knowledge to find the best local nature sites. Visit us for location maps, opportunities to see tree kangaroos, platypus and cassowary all in natural locations. We offer tours to see crocodiles in the wild and snorkeling opportunities with turtles.
Our belief is to assist the special habitat that immediately adjoin Villa Marine. Here we replant rainforest species and food source plants for Cairns birdwing and Ulysses butterflies and the Hercules Moth.
We have worked with renowned butterfly expert Paul Wright. We are planting species such as Melicope Ruba and Aristochia Tagula. Having this rainforest environment outside your apartment, gives the guest wonderful opportunities to view exotic wildlife and flora.
