This apartment suits couples, singles, for honeymoon or for guests who want a unique tropical experience, Birdwatching or nature studies, this apartment is ideal for nature photographers, birdwatchers, writers, researchers, visiting professors, students and staff of James Cook University as well as persons who just love nature and want to learn about the rainforest, because of the high densities of rainforest flora and fauna. Also staff of National Geographic film crew has used Villa Marine as their accommodation base whilst in the Cairns region.

Rainforest Apartment details
The Rainforest Apartment is fully self-contained, self-catering affordable luxury accommodation that faces rainforest. The apartment sleeps 1-2 persons in a luxury pillow top queen bed, new kitchen, with under bench oven and 4 burner hotplates and full size fridge. Kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, microwave, crockery and cutlery. The Sofa, lounge area with flat screen television looks out onto the rainforest, new bathroom with shower and toilet, both have rainforest views, toilet is in a separate room. Two separate outside patios provide peaceful places to read and view the rainforest, the rear patio overlooks tropical rainforest and wetlands, the front patio overlooks rainforest and the lagoon pool. Large arm chairs and cool verandas compliment the front patio. Large sliding screened windows catch sea breezes allowing natural cooling along with split system air conditioning. The patios are ideal places to view rainforest flora and fauna. The rainforest is sanctuary to kangaroos and wallabies and other native animals, many butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Birdwing live in this rainforest environment which is a diverse eco-system.

Our onsite tour and information office has extensive information on the tropical rainforests including Kuranda Rainforest, Daintree Cape Tribulation Rainforest, and rainforest on the Atherton Tablelands such as old growth World Heritage listed rainforest surrounding Lake Barrine. We have lots of information on free walks and national parks, tours you can do by yourself, as well as rainforest walks just 10-20 minutes away from us like Stoney Creek, Crystal Cascades and lake Placid. Just ask us for your own personal maps to assist you. As well we are agents for all rainforest tours such as rainforest tours to Kuranda on Sky rail cable car through world heritage rainforest. We are near the Sky rail departure point just a 5-8 minute journey by car. Tour companies pick up and drop off at our door for both the Kuranda scenic railway and Skyrail, tickets can be purchased from our information office.
